Course overview

This course reviews the laws and rules that guide professional nursing practice in the state of Florida. This course meets the Florida nursing license renewal requirement for Florida Laws and Rules of Nursing. Course objectives: 1) Understands the purpose and membership of the Florida Board of Nursing. 2) Demonstrates understanding of the Florida Nurse Practice Act. 3) Reviews and understands the rules that govern nursing in the state of Florida. 4) Identifies the nine provisions of the American Nurses Association Nursing Code of Ethics.
