Course overview

This six-hour seminar provides continuing education for Michigan assessors and appraisers. The seminar traces the development of the property sextor from primarily local developer/owner to a national market with institutional capital. Development trends in major Michigan markets are presented including new construction, rents, vacancy and sales of properties. Highest and best use is ecplored particularly with the redevelopment of vacant big box retail inito enclosed self-storage facilities. Two case studies are presented including new constructiono and the feasibility process.
