Discussion about occupational therapist's role in promoting environmentally sustainable living to the community through occupations. Topics include the tiers of service/prevention in public health; climate change and human contribution to global warming; the negative impact of climate change on human health; relation of climate change to occupational therapy through the Ecology of Human Performance theory; how occupations can be influenced by sustainable living practices; and ways to promote environmentally sustainable occupations as an occupational therapist.
