Compassion Fatigue and Burnout

Course overview
The rate of burnout and compassion fatigue has been increasing among healthcare providers. This has seriously impacted healthcare delivery to patients and workers' welfare. Several assessment tools are available to screen for and differentiate between burnout and compassion fatigue. This course will address the various risk factors and signs of burnout and compassion fatigue and review interventions to prevent and treat each condition. The goal of this course is to educate the healthcare team on the signs of burnout and compassion fatigue and the evidence-based treatments available.
