DISSOCIATIVE DISORDER AND HYPERAROUSAL

Course overview

Available by home study or online course (live class as scheduled) focuses on the symptoms of dissociation and its hyperarousal. Many behavioral health patient populations are affected by problems in response to abuse, trauma, and neglect. Many of these problems had their origins in childhood, most cause significant distress to social, and occupational functioning. A discussion of Post Traumatic Stress Disorder will be presented including treatment indications and care issues when substance abuse is present.
