This course will open with a review of regulatory changes based on the fiscal year 2025 Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) Prospective Payment System (PPS) Proposed Rule. In preparation for the upcoming revisions, we will dive into how the changes will affect long-term care survey processes and navigate ways to assess compliance. Analysis of the Critical Element Pathways for targeted focus areas will give insight into survey review processes and ensure best practices are being put into place and resident care needs are being met. As the interdisciplinary team works to deliver person-centered care, knowledge and preparation are key to successful survey preparedness.
