Promoting Breastfeeding by Implementing Kangaroo Mother Care (KMC)

Course overview

This course has been created for perinatal RNs and LPNs to further their education on the role of the nurse in promoting skin-to-skin contact/ Kangaroo Care to encourage increases in breastfeeding in the early postpartum period. Although the focus is on term infants, this educational module information can also be applied in the NICU environment.
