Tracking # 20-1206996
Course overview
A transfer can be viewed as the safe movement of a person from one place or surface to another. Transfers provide an opportunity to train an individual to enhance independent function. Transfers require varying levels of assistance from stand-by assistance to maximum assistance. They may also require assistive devices such as sit-to-stand devices or hoists. This course will explore the role of patient transfers and the principles and procedures required to develop competency in patient transfers. Physiopedia Plus courses are accessed through a monthly ($31) or yearly ($237) membership. Use discount code CEBROKER30 to get 30% discount on yearly full or pro membership.
