Course overview
This course is to help us understand the dynamics of domestic violence, a prerequisite is to understand the situation in which the patient finds themselves. The New York State office for the Prevention of Domestic Violence has defined domestic abuse in 5 categories. Physical,Sexual,Psychological,Emotional and Economic abuse.

Method of Evaluation:
Participant achievement of the stated learning objectives is evaluated through completion of a post-test examination and review of case-based scenarios. A minimum passing score of 70% is required for successful completion.
