Course overview

Adnexal masses and polycystic ovarian syndrome (PCOS) can have a big impact on the health of female patients. Adnexal masses can range from benign to malignant and have serious consequences on fertility and overall health. PCOS is the most common hormone disorder for female patients and can also affect the fertility and overall health of female patients. It is important for nurses to understand the signs and symptoms of adnexal masses and PCOS in order to identify appropriate nursing interventions for their patients. In this course, participants will learn the different types of adnexal masses, signs and symptoms of adnexal masses and PCOS, the diagnostic criteria for adnexal masses and PCOS, and different methods of treatment.
