The healthcare workplace has become an environment where injuries occur due to the nature of the healthcare professional's job of helping others. The patient's need of assistance has been a constant, and this constant demand on healthcare professionals does take its toll. Care must be taken to provide continued education of back safety and change the culture of the facility to foster proper lifting techniques. This course will enhance the education that employers provide at orientation and yearly skill fairs.
