Cardiovascular Risk Factors in Women Objectives Upon completion of this course, participants will be able to: 1.Understand the significance of heart disease in postmenopausal women and the treatment options available to both prevent and treat CHD. 2.Analyze the role of lipid lowering therapies for reducing CV risk in postmenopausal women. 3.Evaluate the risks and benefits of hormone replacement therapy in postmenopausal women. 4.Summarize current strategies for primary and secondary CV risk prevention in postmenopausal women.
