This course will familiarize the participant with the Florida regulations for administration of medicines to patients. The course includes, but is not limited to, the following subject matter: 1. Definitions 2. Determining need for assistance and informed consent 3. The guidelines of medication administration 4. Validation requirements 5. Medication administration procedures 6. Medication errors 7. Storage requirements 8. Documentation and record keeping 9. Off site medication administration
