Objectives: Upon completion of this activity, participants will be able to: 1.Explain why it is difficult to evaluate preterm birth prevention strategies. 2.Discuss the 2 most commonly used markers for preterm birth, fetal fibronectin, and transvaginal cervical length. 3.List markers that are being evaluated for possible use in preterm birth prediction.
