Course overview

This program will inform nurses about inflammatory bowel disease as it relates to best practices in the diagnosis, evaluation and management of patients. Readers will be able to: discuss the pathology and differential diagnoses of IBD, describe the goals of treatment and the treatment pathways investigated and pursued during the treatment of IBD, and list management techniques and coping mechanisms required of patients who have IBD.
