This course will deepen understanding about ethics, its impact on healthcare as well as the general impacts of legal statutes and guidance on healthcare behavior. Upon completion of this training, you should be able to: Define the formal ethical principles of healthcare. Identify guiding principles of ethical and legal behavior and how that relates to the care of the patient. Recall how ethical principles in healthcare relate to private patient information. Identify different types of abuse that can occur in a healthcare setting. Recall the healthcare professional's role in reporting ethical, legal or abuse issues.
