Environmental Scans - Strategies Across the State

Course overview

Participants will understand the difference between Type A, Type B, and Type C gambling provider licenses. Participants will be able to describe what an environmental scan is and understand its importance in creating community level change and supporting prevention and treatment efforts in the areas of most need. Participants will learn the best practice process of creating and conducting an environmental scan. Participants will learn locations and designs/placement of sports betting kiosks and how to use this information to support treatment and prevention efforts. Participants will learn environmental scan results from three counties across Ohio.
