Course overview

Understanding resident, client, patient's rights in health care facilities. The goal of this program is to discuss patient rights as they apply to the healthcare setting. At completion of the program the student will be able to describe patient rights and how they relate to the home setting and discuss how they relate to the home setting. Also important to the learner is respecting and maintaining patients rights as a home caregiver.
