Course overview

This course addresses the foundational skills any Massage Therapist should demonstrate in a client session, whether working at a SPA, clinic or independently. You will practice and master safe, professional and effective draping in prone, supine, side-lying and sitting up positions on the table, review essential intake forms and SOAP-note taking, including pregnant, postpartum, senior and cancer clients, understand the essentials of touch from how to begin a session, to how to end a session and successfully help a client back up and off the table and how to professionally discuss and follow up with a client after a session. The course will also address body mechanics best practices for the longevity of the Therapist.
