Course overview

Major medical journals of the U.S. and Europe have published over 120 peer-reviewed studies on the effectiveness and limitations of acupuncture in treating 46 different diseases. This course identifies these 120+ studies, their authors, the journals in which they appeared, dates of publication, and provides a summary of the conclusions of each study. These journals and the Rand Corporation have also published 7 studies on the potential cost-effectiveness of using acupuncture in national health systems.
