Course overview

Dizziness is common in the pre-hospital and emergency department (ED) settings. Most patients will have a benign condition. However, up to 25% of patients presenting with dizziness complaints will have a life-threatening condition. It is imperative that emergency medical services (EMS) professionals, emergency nurses, and providers promptly identify and treat life-threatening causes of dizziness.
