2 Hour Solar PV and the National Electric Code

Course overview

Solar PV Safety and the NEC is designed for participants that are new to solar technology. This course will take participants through the basics of solar photovoltaic (PV) safety including fall hazards, PPE, site safety and OSHA requirements. This course will then introduce the participants to the National Electric Code and the articles relevant to solar PV installation and design. Required Course Materials: - A copy of the National Electric Code, available free at https://www.nfpa.org/codes-and-standards/nfpa-70-standard-development/70 - Calculator (Texas Instruments TI-30 or equivalent)
