Breast Cancer Diagnosis, Treatment and Prevention
Tracking # 20-1223822
Course overview
Breast cancer, the most common malignancy in women worldwide, is curable in a vast number of patients with early-stage, non-metastatic disease. Treatment strategies involving multidisciplinary health team management vary according to the molecular subtype. Future therapeutic concepts aim for individualized therapy and treatment de-escalation or escalation based on tumor biology and early therapy response. Despite the many breast cancer treatment advancements, ensuring equal worldwide access to these therapies remains a significant challenge in breast cancer care for the future.
