In this short lectures series you will learn the process of the triage exam as outlined by the VetATLS, the properties of solutes in water and how that corresponds to fluid shifts in the body, the anatomy of the heart, blood flow through the heart and heart chambers and corresponding valves and also covers some of the most common arrythmias such as ventricular premature contractions (VPC), atrial fibrillation, AV block and ventricular fibrillation. You will also learn where and how to obtain an arterial blood gases and discuss indications and the process of placing IO catheters. At the end of this series you will have strong familiarity with these processes and their indications.
