Course overview

This program discusses the process for performing efficient dentistry procedures. Participants will begin learning how to obtain patient history and perform an oral examination on awake patients that sets the foundation for a successful dentistry plan. You will then proceed to understand how to position anesthetized patients for dentistry, efficient dental charting and anesthetized oral examination. Finally, you will see a demonstration explaining how to properly scale and polish the teeth. The knowledge gained in this program will aid in communication, documentation and efficiency in performing dentistry procedures.
