Ethics Including the NCBTMB Standard of Ethics - This online home study cognitive Ethics Continuing Education course offers the professional massage therapist an opportunity to focus on perspectives on ethics, establishing and maintaining healthy boundaries, informed consent and intake forms, codes of ethics for the National Certification Board for Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork (NCBTMB), The American Massage Therapy Association (AMTA), The Texas Department of State Health Services, Massage Therapy Division; and the Florida State Massage Therapy Association (FSMTA). Also included in the course notebook are the NCBTMB Standards Of Practice V; the complete NCBTMB Standards Of Practice, and a list of helpful resources for advanced study. This cognitive course does not include protocols directly related to massage therapy or the manipulation of soft tissue; the focus of this course is exclusively on Ethics.
