The Good News was that as of Jan 2024, Mental Health Counselors will be eligible for Medicare Reimbursement for offering their counseling services to Senior Citizens, but the Bad News is that most counselors have never been given training in providing care to this population. The goal of this workshop is to review issues facing the elderly which Counselors need to know about and how to address these concerns.
