n this course we will discuss the human trafficking epidemic in the United States, specifically the role healthcare professionals can play in the recognition of victims of this crime. We will present the various risk factors that make people prone to human trafficking. We will provide several assessment tools that can assist healthcare providers in identifying and helping these victims.
