Course overview

Course outline: Electrical safety has been developed in an effort to give those in the industry a better understanding of a number of hazards associated with working on or near energized electrical equipment and circuits, and the manner and condition under which such work may be performed. This class will make the student explore "NFPA 70E, STANDARDES FOR ELECTRICAL SAFETY IN THE WORKPLACE" as a means to comply with the electrical safety-related work practice requirements of OSHA. This is an 8-hour course, which includes a booklet containing 177 questions and answers, developed by our training director that meets the minimum safety requirements for license types in the matrix. Students are required to obtain a score of 75% or better to receive a certification that they have passed the course.
