Course overview
A 30-hour evidence-based, highly interactive training for individuals interested in providing recovery coaching services in various service settings. The training is authored by several leaders in New Hampshire and across the nation in the field of peer-based recovery support. The training covers concepts and competencies such as a recovery-oriented system of care, multiple pathways of recovery, harm reduction peer recovery support, ethics, boundary management, motivational interviewing, special justice issues in recovery coaching, self-care, role-specific research and data collection & reporting, stigma, discrimination, and language for recovery-specific terms in recovery coaching. This class also includes four hours of specific ethics training for recovery support workers.
