Course overview

A recent meta-analysis explored various treatment approaches for individuals with comorbid Posttraumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) and Substance Use Disorder (SUD). The study included 28 randomized clinical trials and examined the efficacy and acceptability of trauma-focused and non-trauma-focused treatments. The findings shed light on the effectiveness of different interventions and provide valuable insights into the treatment landscape for individuals with comorbid PTSD/SUD. Further investigation is needed to determine the most suitable approach for each individual
