Practical Management of Diabetes

Course overview

Pharmacists have an important role in providing diabetes management. The content of this program will provide the pharmacist with a review of the pathophysiology of diabetes, oral and injectable diabetes medications, and therapeutic plan development. Utilizing current guidelines and recommendations, this program will provide the learner with the knowledge and skills necessary to provide routine management of diabetes in outpatient settings. The key concepts will be addressed though case applications.
