Course overview

Cannabinoids are within our human bodies (endocannabinoids), natural (phytocannabinoids), or synthetic. Conversations revolve around the absolute need for more high-quality studies on the clinical utilization of cannabinoids, yet there already exists an appreciable amount of quality data steering clinical utilization. In fact, there are already multiple cannabinoids that are FDA-approved to treat specific medical conditions, with some having already been around for decades. However, there are countless other products lacking the same scrutiny while being available with much lower pricing. Thus, clinicians must discuss where cannabinoids fit into clinical practice, which this presentation will accomplish by diving further into the weeds.
