Introduction to DBT

Course overview

Gain, or build upon, a foundation in the theory and core skills of DBT! Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) is the evidence-based treatment developed by Marsha Linehan, PhD, ABPP, for the treatment of suicidality, self-harm, emotion dysregulation, and severe behavior dyscontrol. These skills can be applied across a wide-range of clients. This 2-day training is for providers new to the model or wanting to deepen skills and abilities through learning to dialectically teach skills individually or in groups. At the end of this training, participants will be able to provide DBT-informed individual therapy and will be provided with an 8- session protocol.
