Course overview

Training others outside of the United States is a wonderful experience and a great way to share your expertise. This presentation will show you the different places I have trained at and how the experience was for each visit. I will go through the different cultures and of course very unusual techniques that were used in foreign histology laboratories. I will also go through how to apply, what the expectations from you as a trainer, and how to choose what places you prefer to go. I will also introduce you to some of the team members that I have signed on with ASCP/NSH. Who are all NSH members. Linda Cherepow and I have developed a training guide that was approved by NSH and ASCP that will be available for you to look through at this presentation. It is used to let the facility you are going to get a hint of what you can help them with in training. It BRIEFLY covers all aspects of the histology laboratory duties.
