Course overview

Part One: Safety The first hour of the class addresses the goals of safety and health programs in preventing workplace injuries, illnesses and deaths recalling potential hazards in the workplace. Part Two: Infection Control The second hour of the course addresses the role of bacteria, viruses and fungi in the spread and prevention of disease. Part Three: Health and Safety Emergencies The third hour presents the steps that should be taken to plan for a health or safety emergency and how to include the steps in an Emergency Action Plan.
