Course overview

We are taking a fresh look at what behavior really tells us, how to communicate with individuals in ways that work, what it means to address students sensory health, the easy to miss gross motor needs of neurodivergent students and how to confidently tackle the workflow of the school therapy process using best practices, even in hard cases. We are bringing back some frequent flyers - positioning and writing and sparking your clinical reasoning and critical thinking on these ever present challenges in the school setting. We will help you deepen your practice for students with visual difficulties, unique transportation requirements, ADHD and executive function needs. You will also come away with the latest ideas on using AI for yourself and your students- it's sure to inspire your creativity and innovation! Our annual conference also starts a conversation that continues all year with school discussion groups. Powerful professional development for school-based professionals is a key part of the ERI mission, and school discussion groups provide a forum for therapists and educators to ask questions and share insights online.
