In this course, you will learn CMS coding requirements for hospices, the importance of accurate ICD-10-CM coding and its role in hospice, and how to select the specific ICD-10-CM codes that best describe the terminal illness and related comorbidities. The goal of this course is to instruct hospice nurses, medical coders, and other staff on ICD-10-CM coding requirements specific to hospice providers.
