Course overview

Buyers and sellers can find themselves in a position of being represented by the same brokerage and even the same real estate licensee. What are the consequences of those situations for the consumer and the real estate licensee? After a review of historical and regulatory context of agency, the course will then focus on the practical aspect of dual agency relationship, including a review of the limited fiduciary obligations of a dual agent, alternatives to dual agency and best practices for both consumer protection and liability protection of the licensee.
