Course overview

This webinar will cover an overview of the National Scrapie Eradication Program including what is scrapie and a brief scientific history on the disease, surveillance and testing of sheep/goats for the scrapie program, and how to help our program eradicate the disease. Additionally, this webinar will discuss other sheep, goat, and camelid disease programs that we can assist veterinarians within their daily roles. These diseases might include tuberculosis, brucellosis, q-fever, and other zoonotic diseases. Lastly, the webinar will provide resources for where to find out additional information on our scrapie program and other reportable diseases.
