Course overview

Dementia is a growing concern in the United States and around the world. The number of persons living with dementia is expected to continue to increase and, in the US, many will become residents in nursing homes. Providing care to residents with dementia may be both challenging and rewarding. This activity goes beyond the basics into brain anatomy, types and stages of dementia, and current research findings.
