Course overview

This 1 hour webinar serves as an introduction or review on all aspects of Body Weight Supported Therapy aka LiteGait Therapy. It covers a variety of different topics designed to instruct, demonstrate, and inspire the viewer on correct and proper application of the LiteGait Therapy environment. Videos and photos are shared throughout the session to offer visual and graphic depiction of the techniques presented. Topics include correct LiteGait harness and device set up techniques for maximizing patient outcomes, common gait deviations and how to address them in the body weight-supported environment, using the LiteGait environment for safe therapy activities beyond gait, and more. The attendee will come away with a breadth of knowledge on therapist positioning for ideal facilitation and body mechanics, new interventions to try, and a greater understanding of the types of patients that can benefit from the LiteGait environment both on and off the treadmill.
