Course overview

There is an increased focus on the physical and cognitive benefits of facility and environmental design in long-term care. This focus is partially fueled by the anticipated increase in long-term care residents, especially those living with dementia. Strategically planning for this future and having a better understanding of facility and grounds design can help promote well-being and quality of life for residents. This activity presents aspects of facility and environmental design for LTC leaders to consider as they plan for the future.
