Course overview
In the last few years, some really useful new drugs have become available to veterinarians through the new pathway of conditional approval, such as Laverdia and Panoquel. This session explains this relatively new pathway for veterinary drugs and lays out a road map to help clinicians understand: - the safety and effectiveness of conditionally approved products - what rules there are for how we can and should use them - how we can explain to clients the difference between conditionally approved veterinary drugs, fully approved veterinary drugs, off-label use of human and veterinary drugs, and dietary supplements.
