Course overview

An essential part of any long-term care business is organizational risk management. The risks may affect the health and safety of the individuals you support, the staff who provide that support, or the well-being and reputation of the organization itself. The goal of this course is to provide administrators and directors in IDD settings with strategies to develop and implement plans to mitigate organizational risk. You will learn about the purpose and benefit of organizational risk management; key components of the risk assessment process, and strategies and processes for effectively managing organizational risk.
