Too often the influence of the male in any fertility situation is overlooked or left unaddressed. Whether our male patients show subtle indications of subfertility or complete azoospermia, as acupuncturists practicing Traditional Chinese Medicine we can do a lot to help them achieve better outcomes. In this course we will explore both modern biomedical and TCM-based energetic models of the anatomy, physiology, and pathology of the male reproductive tract and how both gross and subtle issues with these can have dramatic impacts on a couple’s ability to conceive. Then, we will explore diagnostic parameters and treatment strategies that integrate the energetic of Traditional Chinese Medicine with modern Functional Medicine concepts to produce a comprehensive mind-body approach to male infertility.
