Course overview
Successful medication management is a critical component of health and wellness, medication safety, and prevention of adverse events like rehospitalization. This course teaches occupational therapy providers how to assess and remediate problems that interfere with the performance of this instrumental activity of daily living. This course reviews key areas of assessment of the skills required to achieve independence in medication management and how to implement effective treatment strategies. This course equips OT providers to identify barriers and implement solutions for safe medication self-management.
