Basic Principles and Adaptations of Dialectical Behavior Therapy
Tracking # 20-1248706
Course overview
Dialectical behavior therapy (DBT) is an evidence-based practice with broad diagnostic applicability. Although originally targeted to treat individuals with suicidal risks and borderline personality disorder, its core skills can be applied to a range of mental health challenges. This course will introduce you to DBT and its evidence base and foundations. You will learn how DBT differs from CBT and ACT and how to adapt it for specific populations and clinical challenges.
