This course provides an introduction to Ergonomics as it applies to workplace injury prevention. It provides a basic overview of the ergonomics profession, risk factors (including repetitive motion, sustained static exertion, awkward postures, forceful exertions, and contact stress), ergonomic assessments, ergonomic solutions, common injuries, and environmental risk factors related to specific job settings. Course is approved for 2.0 CEUs/contact hours to Nurses (all states), CCM, CRC, and CA Workers' Comp Specialists. Must pass final quiz with 80% or more; may re-take as often as needed.
