Course overview

Social media has been shown to have positive and negative impacts on overall mental health. While many individuals can feel more connected and informed with social media use, others, particularly younger people, may experience feelings of anxiety, loneliness, and depression that are linked to social media usage. An important consideration is to be able to set appropriate boundaries with social media usage and decrease the damaging effects it can have. Therefore, this course will provide useful strategies to improve mental health concerns related to social media usage.
